More and More women are burning out of work. Men do your part. Things that should be getting under control are getting worse.

The annual Women in the Workplace report from McKinsey and Company found that the gap between women and men who say they are burned out has nearly doubled in the last year. 42% of women and 35% of men reported feeling burned out often, or almost always in 2021 compared to 32% of women and 28% of men.

Lisa Buyer can relate to this as she reached a point of burnout earlier this year. In this episode, Lisa highlights her past agency and personal life and how it has led her to burnout.

“I did recognize that I was burning out. I just was. I wasn't really sure what it was like. I didn't have the clarification of, okay, this is burnout. Now looking back and now having more information, the information that I'm going to go over with you today that I want to share with you, it's easier to recognize burnout and possibly recognize it earlier and figure out what to do about it.” - Lisa Buyer
